Submitted illustration for “Art Book of Selected Illustration” which will be published next month in Japan.

The theme is “Wa-Modern(Modern Japanese Art)”.
I picked my characters from the past work and combine it together.

Those girls in the illustration have name as “Neo-Nadeshiko” which means new-type of girls who are strong and independent. They are very different from the obedient and old-styled Japanese girls used to be described as “Ideal Japanese girls.”

Girls, if “obedient and cute” is yourself, it’s ok. Go on your way.
But if you are not that kind, you can always be one of “Neo-Nadeshiko” 😀
